CAN I BRING EXTENSIONS TO YOU TO INSTALL FOR ME?

All of our extension applications are guaranteed and we include all materials, such as hair, in the hair extension services we offer. Services are only able to be guaranteed when materials are sourced directly by your stylist.

We partner with trusted suppliers to maintain high standards for our extension services. To ensure the best results for your services, we only use professionally sourced materials. This ensures Kristin can confidently assure the longevity and quality of your extensions.

Every head of hair is different, and every extension method will not work for every type of hair!

I am dedicated to providing customized solutions for each individual that I work with. there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to a person’s hair - and the same goes for wearing hair extensions!

The most important thing with hair extension wear is YOU and I am here to help you make an educated decision in what is the best solution for your hair type.

The best way to know which extensions are right for you depends on:

Your hair type - the natural density of your hair, current condition, and what you are looking to change

Your lifestyle - how you wear your hair or style your hair on a regular basis

HOW SOON AM I ABLE TO COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION?

Generally, we’re able to book new consultations to book within 1-2 weeks of submitting your digital consultation form.

HOW SOON AFTER A CONSULTATION AM I ABLE TO BOOK A SET OF EXTENSIONS?

After our in person consultation, we generally can schedule a new set of extensions within 2-3 weeks

IS THERE A RESERVATION FEE TO SCHEDULE AN EXTENSION CONSULTATION?

Yes! We require a $100 service retainer at the time of scheduling your consultation session. This consultation retainer applies as a credit towards your first set of extensions with Kristin.

CAN I BOOK A CONSULTATION OVER THE PHONE?

All of our Extension Consultation Appointments start by completing our digital New Guest Consultation form!

We book 100% of our visits digitally and are not able to schedule a consultation without submitting our new guest form.

CAN MY CONSULTATION RETAINER BE TRANSFERRED IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
Yes! We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to change or transfer any appointments scheduled.

In the instance of a no-show visit, or appointments that are canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, will forfeit the reservation and retainer.

I'M TRAVELING FROM OUT OF STATE, HOW DO I SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION?
We will always require a consultation prior to the service! For guests that are flying in from out of state, we often start with a virtual discovery call to start your experience with us.

If this is something you are interested in doing, please include these details in your New Guest Form so we are able to plan for your visit!

For guests that are traveling, we recommend having 3 days planned for your service.

Day 1: we will schedule your consultation
Day 2: will be reserved for Prep Day
Day 3: application day!

You will always want to have your hair colored to your desired color before matching extension colors and before having hair extensions applied!

For most methods, once your extensions have been applied, you must wait 2 weeks before coloring your hair again. We always recommend that your color is fresh ahead of having a new set of extensions applied.

You will still be able to color your hair as usual while wearing extensions.

Some methods may require removal of the extensions before coloring, or your color appointments may align with reapplications.

CAN I CHANGE THE TEXTURE OF MY NATURAL HAIR WHILE I'M WEARING HAIR EXTENSIONS?
For all texture services, your extensions must be fully removed before changing the texture of your natural hair.

TEXTURE SERVICES:
For texture services such as keratin smoothing treatments, permanent straightening, or perms and relaxers, the extensions must be removed before changing the texture of your natural hair.

Before applying extensions to your natural hair, you must wait 7 days before a set of extensions can be applied.

This applies to all methods of extensions and is essential to ensuring the longevity of your extensions, allowing the attachments to adhere to your natural hair.

Extension services will ALWAYS be an investment!

You wear your hair every single day, and the investment is evident in a few different ways!

Monetary investment. Extensions are absolutely a monetary investment, and you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to quality of service and longevity of your extensions.

Time investment. Caring for your hair and hair extensions is a daily practice that requires specific changes / alterations in your general daily care routine. This will vary from person to person, however - it is based on the premise of creating great hair habits, especially while caring for your extensions! Extensions will always require maintenance and a styling routine at home, along with care-specific guidelines.

Home care and products. Taking care of your hair is an investment in using the proper tools for caring for your hair at home! Drug store products simply won’t cut it when it comes to taking care of your hair, and using high quality, professionally recommended products is non-negotiable when caring for hair extensions and your natural hair at home.

• Each method requires daily care and maintenance brushing. Proper home care is key to maintaining the integrity of your natural hair and hair extensions.

• Your home care products make a huge difference in your overall results with your hair extensions - using recommended products by your stylist is the best practice.

I'M CURRENTLY WEARING EXTENSIONS, HOW DO I SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION?

YOUR NATURAL LENGTH:

For applications to achieve additional length or volume, we recommend that your natural hair is at least 4” in length all over. Every method of application requires this length as a minimum, in order to provide coverage for the attachments.

OVERALL HAIR CONDITION

Hair must be healthy enough to withstand the additional weight of extensions! In some instances, we may recommend a trial period of wear before committing to a full application.

CAN EXTENSIONS HELP WITH TRICHOTILLOMANIA?

Each person with TTM is unique! Extensions and hair additions can often be helpful with regaining confidence in your hair, and can sometimes deter symptoms of TTM.

Upon request, we are able to offer Private Consultations on a limited basis. Please indicate this within your Pre-Visit Consultation form, as the availability is limited and not advertised!
